Why Hand-Painted Premium Is Different

A standard 3D print is produced directly from the digital model using the selected filament and printing settings.

Hand painting is different.

After printing, the model requires additional preparation and finishing before the painting process can begin. The amount of work depends on the model itself — its size, geometry, level of detail, number of colors and the finish you would like us to achieve.

This means that two models of the same size may require completely different amounts of work.

For this reason, Hand-Painted Premium does not have a fixed price and cannot be purchased directly from the website.

Instead, you send us a request first.

We review the project and, if we can accept it, we provide you with an individual price before any payment is required.

Before sending your request, confirm that you understand that Hand-Painted Premium is individually priced and requires approval before payment.

Submitting the request does not place an order, does not add the model to your cart and does not require payment.

It simply tells our team that you are interested in having that particular model professionally hand-painted.

04 — We Review the Model

Every Premium request is reviewed individually.

We consider factors such as:

• the selected model and size;
• the level of detail;
• model geometry and accessibility of individual areas;
• preparation required before painting;
• number and complexity of colors;
• expected painting time;
• any special finishing requirements;
• our current Premium painting availability.

We may contact you by email if we need additional information before providing a price.

Where possible, we can discuss how you would like your model to look before painting begins.

You may want the model painted close to the original design, or you may have your own idea for the colors and overall appearance.

For more specific projects, we may ask you to send reference images or describe the look you would like us to achieve.

Because every model is different, the possibilities and limitations will be discussed individually before the commission is accepted.

Payment Comes Only After Approval

We believe you should know what your Premium project will cost before you pay for it.

That is why we do not charge anything when you submit your initial request.

Only after:

we review the project → confirm that we can produce it → agree on the details → provide the final price

will you receive the option to pay.

Once payment is completed, your Hand-Painted Premium project enters production.

From 3D Print to Hand-Painted Collectible

Producing a Premium piece involves much more than simply changing the filament color.

Depending on the model, the process may include:

3D Printing
The selected model is produced in the chosen size using appropriate printing settings.

Preparation
The printed piece is inspected and prepared for finishing.

Priming
Where appropriate, the model is prepared with a suitable surface for painting.

Base Colors
The main colors of the model are applied.

Details
Smaller elements and individual features are carefully painted.

Shadows & Highlights
Where appropriate, additional painting techniques are used to create depth and emphasize the details of the model.

Final Inspection
The finished piece is checked before packaging.

The exact process can vary depending on the model.

Why Is There No Fixed Price?

Because Hand-Painted Premium is priced according to the actual work involved.

A 10 cm model with a simple design may require considerably less work than another 10 cm model covered in armor, scales, accessories and dozens of small details.

Size matters — but complexity matters too.

The final price can therefore depend on:

Model size · Complexity · Number of colors · Detail level · Preparation · Painting time · Requested finish

This allows us to price each commission according to the actual project rather than increasing the price of every Premium model to cover the most complicated cases.

Limited Availability

Hand painting takes time.

Unlike standard 3D printing, it cannot simply be scaled by adding more machines.

For that reason, we intentionally accept a limited number of Hand-Painted Premium commissions at a time.

If Premium capacity is temporarily full, we may not be able to accept your request immediately.

This limitation helps us give each accepted project the attention it requires.

What If My Request Cannot Be Accepted?

Sending a request does not guarantee that we will be able to accept the commission.

A request may be declined or postponed because of:

model complexity, technical limitations, current workload, painting capacity or other production considerations.

If we cannot accept the project, you will not be charged anything.
